Ce magnifique gite dominant une des vallées de la Touraine du Sud, vous séduira à coup sûr par le charme de ses vieilles pierres.  Le calme et l'espace y règnent en maître. Pour les vacances, vous apprécierez la piscine (10m x 5m) mise à disposition par les propriétaires.

The holiday cottage is part of a former farm, and is set next to the owner's house.  It is the only holiday cottage / gite on the site, so you are assured a restful holiday, with exclusive use of the swimming pool.

The gite is very spacious, and furnished to a high standard.  It has two bedrooms, which together with a convertible bed / settee in the main sitting room, means that the gite can sleep up to 7 people.

The setting of the cottage is very rural, being surrounded by fields.  However it is only 10 minutes by car to Sainte Maure, Ligueil, or Descartes; which between them have four supermarkets.  For more extensive shopping the major towns of Tours and Loches are both about half an hour's drive away from the gite.  Both have old quarters to explore and a very good selection of restaurants.

The gite is ideally situated for visiting the famous chateaux of the Loire Valley, such as Amboise, Chinon, Chenonceaux, Villandry, and Azay le Rideau. 

For wine lovers several of the Loire Valley appellations (e.g. Chinon, Vouvray etc) are within a short drive.

Les fameux châteaux de la Loire sont à quelques minutes du gite, et les amateurs de bon vins seront ravis de savoir que Chinon, Vouvray et Saumur sont seulement à une poignée de kilomètres.  Ce gite est bien situé pour vous faire découvrir tous les charmes de la Val de Loire.

This gite has all the ingredients to provide you with a restful and idyllic holiday in the famous Loire Valley, whether it be exploring the area, chateaux visiting, or simply relaxing by the swimming pool and enjoying the tranquillity.
